I am an interdisciplinary developmental biologist, artist, and visual media researcher exploring the biology of multicellular organisms and practices of visual communication in the life sciences.

I am currently a Provost’s STEM Postdoctoral Fellow at Brown University. I received my PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and History of Science from Harvard University.

My work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the James S. McDonnell Foundation, and Science Sandbox and featured in Scientific American and STAT News.
